Manteca's approach to crime prevention is built on a partnership between the police department and the community. By working together, we can prevent and reduce crime and create a safer Manteca for everyone.

The Manteca Police Department has maintained an active community outreach presence since 1990, with the Neighborhood Watch Program serving as the foundation for over 100 prevention programs currently in use throughout the city.

The Office of Public Affairs works directly under the Office of the Police Chief, serving as a direct connection between the community, local businesses, media, and the Chief of Police on issues that affect Manteca residents daily.
