The Manteca Police Department is committed to meeting our community where they are. Once registered, our police dispatch center will be able to provide our responding officers with the vital information needed to successfully interact and communicate with your loved one.

About The Program 

The Aware Response Program is designed to gather and maintain information about individuals with special accommodations, disabilities, or unique needs, who reside in or frequently visit Manteca. This information helps ensure that officers can provide appropriate assistance during emergencies or interactions. Residents and visitors are encouraged to voluntarily share essential details with the Manteca Police Department to help officers effectively communicate and engage with your loved ones, as well as provide emergency contact information.

Examples of unique accommodations may include, but are not limited to:

- Hideaway keys for emergency responders
- Elderly individuals who are hard of hearing or deaf
- Visually impaired or blind individuals
- Individuals with autism or special needs
- Aggressive pets within the registered residence
- Managed vacation rentals or Airbnb properties
