We work on making Manteca a better place! We help design the quality of life for residents, as well as the prosperity and health of the community and those who visit through our:

• Stewardship and application of the City’s Zoning Ordinance and General Plan, and other adopted design and development policies, standards, and ordinances
• Reviewing and processing land use entitlement, projects and permits
• Supporting the City’s Planning Commission and City Council on making land use decisions and reviewing and authorizing projects
• Working on long-range urban planning
• Assisting the public with their land use issues and questions, providing information on zoning, allowable land uses, parking, signage, development standards (such as Objective Design Standards, setback standards, height limitations, fence details, etc.)
