The City of Manteca is excited to announce the release of the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Small Business Assistance Grant Program!

FY2025-2026 Small Business Assistance Grant Program

The 2025-2026 Small Business Assistance Grant Program is designed to stimulate economic growth, encourage private investment and support quality retail, dining, and entertainment establishments in Manteca.

The funding opportunity aims to encourage investment in Manteca's small business community by supporting a range of activities that include storefront facade improvements, expansion of outdoor dining areas, ADA compliance upgrades, and enhancing interior tenant spaces to improve the overall customer experience. 

*Priority consideration will be given to new quality retail, entertainment, and full-service restaurants and to those businesses located within the boundaries of the Downtown Manteca Improvement District.

 Eligible uses of grant funding include, but are not limited to:

• Exterior refinishing
• Establishing outdoor dining areas
• Sign renovation or replacement
• Wall repairs and repainting
• Window replacement or modification
• Addition of ornamental or decorative architectural features
• Installation of awning or exterior lighting
• Landscaping improvements
• Other enhancements that improve the building's curb appeal
• Creation of street-visible outdoor dining space within the Public Right-of-Way (must comply with all applicable codes and City permitting requirements)
• Permit fees and design work
• Interior tenant improvements
• ADA accessibility improvements
• Equipment and furniture purchases
• Kitchen and restaurant infrastructure (e.g., hoods, grease traps)

The City of Manteca is now accepting applications! Funds will be available until exhausted. 

Businesses and/or property owners meeting the grant eligibility requirements found in the application linked below and located within the Manteca city limits are encouraged to apply.
