Dear Manteca Residents,

On behalf of the City of Manteca, I am pleased to welcome you to the inaugural Manteca Citizens Academy.

Beginning on August 26, 2026, this multi-week program will provide participants with a unique opportunity to learn about local government, connect with City leaders and staff, and gain a behind-the-scenes look at the services that keep Manteca running each day. Throughout the academy, participants will explore topics such as public safety, city finances, infrastructure, community development, parks and recreation, and other key City services.

The Manteca Citizens Academy was created to foster informed and engaged residents by providing a deeper understanding of how local government operates and how decisions are made. Participants will have the opportunity to tour City facilities, ask questions, and learn more about the projects and initiatives shaping Manteca's future.
